Jennis Li Cheng Tien has recently become one of my favourite artists. Her abstract collisions of colour and texture make her work so wonderful to explore, and I feel like every time I look at another one of her pieces I could spend forever gazing into them (thus the background to this blog!). She manipulates digital images sourced randomly from the internet with layers of colour and does other cool things to them, making the result a vivid play on the eyes - not sure if painting or photograph? I'd love to see her exhibit in Australia, I've always wondered what the prints would look like in a physical environment... it's hard sometimes when an artwork is so technological to imagine it in the real world. Check out her blog
